I’ve not updated my blog in the last two weeks because I got sick. And being sick in a foreign country isn’t fun. I finally got medicine from the pharmacy this weekend, so I’m doing much better already.

There are so many things that happened before and during this time though. Let’s start at the beginning (if I even remember everything).
On Saturday two weeks ago my friends and I went to the festival de las Naciones. A big festival with food and stands from a lot of different countries.
We went there to see an ABBA tribute concert.
On Monday my friend Theresa had her birthday and we celebrated at a bar named “Dilema”. The bar is situated in a really cute area with lots of bars still waiting to be explored.
For the occasion I made cookies (yes I baked) It’s unbelievable, and only possible due to the excellent telephone guide that my friend Fausta provided. (It wouldn’t have been possible without you!) I can definitely recommend her baking-tutoring services.

I’ve been also getting more and more creative with my cooking. Just in the last weeks, I cooked numerous vegetable-heavy meals. I am especially proud of the way I remembered to prep my lentils the night before.

Last Saturday I went on a trip to the beautiful city of Ronda. I was still sick which is also the reason I slept on both bus rides. We had a tour guide show us around and later explored the city on our own for a few hours.

On Sunday, I went out with the girls to a local flea market at Parque Maria Luisa. It takes place every third Sunday of the month. Although, it is to say, that it’s more of a market for small jewelry and clothing businesses to sell their products.

I’m sure I forgot to write about a lot of things but now I have to continue working on my bachelor’s thesis, so bye and until next time : )
